What does one employee in Brazil cost through Rippling?

On top of the salary, Brazilian law makes the employer pay 20 percent social security (Lei 8.212/1991 art. 22) and 8 percent into the worker's FGTS account (Lei 8.036/1990 art. 15). Rippling charges its fee on top of both.

Includes the thirteenth salary: Brazilian law requires 13 monthly salaries a year, added here at face value. Not included: the employer charges on that extra salary, benefits and any currency conversion fee, and Rippling's own fee, which it does not publish.

And in the United Kingdom

A UK employer pays 15 percent National Insurance on pay above a yearly threshold, and at least 3 percent into the worker's workplace pension, both set by the government on gov.uk. Rippling charges its fee on top.

This slightly overstates the cost: both rates are worked out here on the whole salary, while the law applies them only above a threshold or within a pay band. Not included: holiday pay rules, benefits and any currency conversion fee, and Rippling's own fee, which it does not publish.

What does Rippling say about deposits, contracts and exit costs?

Rippling's pricing page says nothing about deposits, minimum contracts or setup fees. Ask before you sign, and get the answer in writing.

What does Rippling charge for contractors?

Rippling does not publish a contractor price. The lowest published is Skuad's Contractor Management System, starting at $19 per contractor per month.
