What employing one person in Brazil through Skuad costs
On top of the salary, Brazilian law makes the employer pay 20 percent social security (Lei 8.212/1991 art. 22) and 8 percent into the worker's FGTS account (Lei 8.036/1990 art. 15). Skuad charges its fee on top of both.
Not included: the Christmas bonus salary the law also requires, which this site cannot yet check against the statute, plus benefits and any currency conversion fee.
And in the United Kingdom
A UK employer pays 15 percent National Insurance on pay above a yearly threshold, and at least 3 percent into the worker's workplace pension, both set by the government on gov.uk. Skuad charges its fee on top.
This slightly overstates the cost: both rates are worked out here on the whole salary, while the law applies them only above a threshold or within a pay band. Not included: holiday pay rules, benefits and any currency conversion fee.
Deposits, contracts, currency and exit costs, in Skuad's words
Skuad's pricing page says nothing about deposits, minimum contracts or setup fees. Ask before you sign, and get the answer in writing.
If you hire contractors instead
Skuad also sells Contractor Management System starting at $19 per contractor per month. That is the lowest contractor price of any vendor here that publishes one.
