How we check every number
Every price and rate on this site was read from the vendor's own pricing page or from the government's own page, and carries the date it was read. If we cannot find a number written down, we do not publish one.
Where the numbers come from
Vendor fees come only from each vendor's public pricing page. Take Deel: its page lists $599 per employee per month, read from its pricing page.
Employer charges come from the law or the tax authority, never from another company's country guide. Brazil's social security charge of 20 percent is read from Lei 8.212/1991 itself. The UK's employer National Insurance rate of 15 percent is read from HMRC on gov.uk.
What we refuse to publish
- A price a vendor does not publish. Rippling quotes through sales, so its pages say so instead of guessing.
- A range or an "about". A number is either written on its source or it is not on this site.
- A number whose source we have not saved. We keep a copy of every page we read, so a number can be checked against the page as it was on the day.
- A page that says little that the vendor's own site does not already say. Every page here must carry at least a few facts from somewhere other than the vendor it is about.
How often it is re-read
Every night a program re-reads every source page. When a pricing page changes, the change is held until a person has looked at what moved and agreed it is real, because pricing pages change their layout far more often than their prices. Until then the page keeps the old number and the date that number was read.
Before any page is published, a separate checker goes back to the saved source and confirms each number is written there. It is tested by planting wrong numbers and making sure it catches every one.
Who writes this
eorcosts is a small independent site, written under the name Peri. It is not owned by, and takes no money from, any vendor it lists. The reading, checking and page building are done by software, including an AI assistant; the checks above are mechanical, so they do not depend on anyone's judgement being right.
Who pays us
Nobody, today. No link on this site earns a commission. If that changes, every link that pays us will be marked where it appears, and the order of any list will not change because of it: lists are sorted by published price, or by name where price is not the question. Of the ten vendors tracked, none has any say in where it appears.
