What does one employee in Brazil cost through Deel?
On top of the salary, Brazilian law makes the employer pay 20 percent social security (Lei 8.212/1991 art. 22) and 8 percent into the worker's FGTS account (Lei 8.036/1990 art. 15). Deel charges its fee on top of both.
Includes the thirteenth salary: Brazilian law requires 13 monthly salaries a year, added here at face value. Not included: the employer charges on that extra salary, benefits and any currency conversion fee.
And in the United Kingdom
A UK employer pays 15 percent National Insurance on pay above a yearly threshold, and at least 3 percent into the worker's workplace pension, both set by the government on gov.uk. Deel charges its fee on top.
This slightly overstates the cost: both rates are worked out here on the whole salary, while the law applies them only above a threshold or within a pay band. Not included: holiday pay rules, benefits and any currency conversion fee.

What does it cost to stop using Deel?
If the severance legally owed to the employee is higher than the amount thus far accrued, clients will be invoiced in the final invoice ; whereas any surplus amount that has accrued will be refunded.
